Singtel gives 4G users more SMS, for what?
While it is not shocking for Singtel to cut backed on their data bundling, it begs the question why the telco is giving more sms to potential 4G users.

Seriously, somebody on 3G or 4G would have discovered Whatsapp, Line, Facebook Messenger, etc that uses 3G/4G.
Obviously, this increase of SMS shows how worthless it has become that Singtel is willing to be so generous in that area.

More likely, they want you to switch back to SMS as they are not earning money from you when you use Whatsapp/iMessage, but if you swap back to SMS, there is a possiblity that you might EXCEED the 800 free SMSes, and they can earn from that.
